Every cushion from Aveleon.eu is made from leftover fabric. Not newly woven fabric, but pieces of original Sunbrella® fabric left over in our own workshop. Here you can read where that fabric comes from and how we turn it into a cushion.

Where the fabric comes from

Aveleon.eu is a webshop of BBerg in Cuijk. In our furniture workshop we make the lounge sets and garden furniture of our sister brand Falain.nl. That furniture is upholstered in Sunbrella® fabric, the brand fabric from Glen Raven. When cutting seats and back cushions, strips and roll ends are left over that are too small for a piece of furniture, but plenty big enough for a 45×45 cm cushion.

How we turn it into a cushion

1. We sort the leftovers by fabric and by colour. This creates a separate collection for each fabric.
2. Each cover is cut to 45×45 cm and finished with a zip.
3. The inner cushion is 100% hollow fibre. The cover is machine-washable.

What this means for you

• The fabric is 100% original Sunbrella®: fade-proof, water-repellent and mold-resistant. We are not Sunbrella® itself, but we process this brand fabric with permission.
• Because every roll of leftover fabric is finite, a colour is sometimes gone after a few weeks. Once a roll is used up, that colour does not come back.
• You do not pay the price of newly woven fabric. That is why a cushion costs from € 29,45 with us.
