Saving leftover fabric is step one. Step two is not wasting that fabric after all. This is how we work.

Smart cutting

A 45×45 cm cushion needs two panels of fabric. Before we cut, we measure each remnant and work out how many covers fit with as little cutting loss as possible. We only cut once the layout is right.

Scraps of scraps

If a strip is still left over after cutting, we do not throw it away. We keep narrow strips and use them later in another cushion. That way we get the most out of every metre of Sunbrella®.

Only making what is there

We do not buy in fabric to "fill up" a collection. Once a roll is used up, that colour is gone. If a colour is almost sold out, you will see that on the product page. That is why our range changes throughout the year. It is not a sales trick, but the result of working with leftover fabric.

Nothing made in advance

We make cushions in small batches and keep them in stock in our workshop. So there are no pallets of unsold cushions waiting in a warehouse. When it is gone, it is gone.
