We make decorative cushions from original Sunbrella® fabric that would otherwise be thrown away. Outdoor brand quality, made with the environment in mind, at a fair price.
Aveleon.eu is a web shop of BBerg. BBerg makes and sells the decorative cushions. Sunbrella® is the brand of the original fabric we use for them. Aveleon.eu is not a web shop of Glen Raven or Sunbrella®.
Born from fabric nobody wanted anymore
Aveleon.eu is a web shop of BBerg, based in Cuijk, the Netherlands. In our own furniture workshop we make the lounge sets and garden furniture of our sister brand Falain.nl, upholstered in original Sunbrella® fabric. Making that furniture leaves strips and rolls of fabric just too small for a seat or back cushion. Beautiful, fade-proof brand fabric that normally ends up in the bin. We thought that was a waste. We are not Sunbrella® itself, but an independent Dutch maker that works this brand fabric with permission.
So we turn that leftover fabric into decorative cushions. Not a meter of Sunbrella® is lost, and you get a cushion made of 100% original Sunbrella® fabric for a fraction of the usual price. Sunbrella® knows what we do and has given us permission to make and sell these cushions from their fabric.
Because every leftover fabric is finite, every collection is only around for a while. Sold out? Then we rescue a new fabric and it starts all over again.
Three promises built into every cushion
From leftover fabric
Everything we make is made entirely from leftover strips and rolls from our own furniture production for Falain.nl. No new fabric, no extra production: only material that already existed and would otherwise be lost.
Sustainable
Our cushions are calculated so precisely that we have hardly any waste left. If a strip does remain, we use it later in another cushion. That way we get the maximum out of every meter of Sunbrella®.
Quality
Using leftover fabric and selling at a sharp price never comes at the expense of the properties of the original Sunbrella® fabric we use for our cushions: fade-proof, water-repellent, mold-resistant and made to live outside for years.
